Content Policy

Modern Camera Club is committed to maintaining a respectful, creative, and safe environment for all photographers. This policy outlines what content is and isn't allowed on our platform.

Content We Welcome

• ✓Original photographs you created or have rights to share
• ✓All photography genres: landscape, portrait, street, wildlife, abstract, macro, architecture, documentary, fine art, and more
• ✓Edited and post-processed images (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
• ✓Tasteful artistic nude photography (clearly labeled and artistic in nature)
• ✓Documentary photography depicting real-world events
• ✓Experimental and avant-garde photography

Prohibited Content

The following types of content are strictly prohibited:

• ✗Illegal Content: Any content that violates applicable laws
• ✗Child Safety: Any imagery involving minors in inappropriate contexts
• ✗Non-consensual Imagery: Images of people taken or shared without consent
• ✗Pornographic Content: Explicit sexual content (artistic nudes are allowed)
• ✗Violence & Gore: Gratuitous violence or graphic injury
• ✗Hate Speech: Content promoting discrimination or hatred
• ✗Spam & Manipulation: Duplicate uploads, misleading content, or system manipulation
• ✗Copyright Infringement: Images you don't own or have rights to use
• ✗AI-Generated Images: We evaluate photographs, not AI-generated artwork

AI Content Filtering

All uploaded images are automatically screened by our AI systems for prohibited content. Images that violate our policies may be automatically rejected or flagged for manual review. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content that violates this policy, please report it using the report button on the photo page or contact us at report@moderncameraclub.com. We investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Content removal
• Warning notification
• Temporary account suspension
• Permanent account termination
• Reporting to law enforcement (for illegal content)

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may appeal by contacting appeals@moderncameraclub.com. Include your username and a description of the content in question.
